Biography
Donald E. Thorin Jr. is an American cinematographer and television director. He has worked in the camera department on feature films including Demolition Man (1993) and In the Line of Fire (1993), and as a camera operator on series such as The West Wing.
He served as director of photography on Alias (2003–2006) and directed one episode of the series in 2005. Thorin has also directed episodes of Cold Case, Blue Bloods and The Blacklist, and worked as DP on Blue Bloods and other series. He received a Primetime Emmy nomination. He is the son of cinematographer Donald E. Thorin.
