Biography
Dylan Cole is a production designer and concept artist. He has worked in the film industry for over twenty years and contributed art to more than sixty films.
Cole served as concept art director on Avatar (2009) and as co-production designer on Avatar: The Way of Water (2022) and Avatar: Fire and Ash (2025). He was production designer on Maleficent (2014). He is an Academy Award nominee.
A Southern California native, Cole has also published the book Creating Worlds: The Disney and 20th Century Studios Cinematic Art of Dylan Cole.
