Biography
Edward Pisoni (1943–2020) was an American production designer and art director. He worked extensively in film and television from the 1970s onwards, beginning with assistant roles on Broadway and early film credits as a draftsman and art director.
His production design credits include The Verdict (1982), Steel Magnolias (1989), The Hand That Rocks the Cradle (1992), It Takes Two (1995), Fools Rush In (1997) and the pilot episode of The Sopranos (1999). He also contributed art direction to The King of Comedy (1982) and The Purple Rose of Cairo (1985). Later television work encompassed Damages and The Big C.
Pisoni received a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Art Direction for a Series for his work on The Sopranos.
