Biography

Erin Benach is a costume designer whose credits include Drive (2011), The Place Beyond the Pines (2013), The Neon Demon (2016), A Star Is Born (2018) and Birds of Prey (2020).

She has worked repeatedly with director Jeff Nichols, including on Loving (2016) and The Bikeriders (2024), for which she created distressed leather jackets and period denim for the 1960s biker setting. Her other recent credits include The End of Oak Street (2026).

Benach trained initially as a graphic designer before moving into costume work. She has received one win and thirteen nominations for her designs.
