Biography
Evan Schiff is a film editor. Born in DeWitt, New York, in 1982, he began working in the industry at the age of 16 with an internship at Stan Winston Studio. He studied film production at the University of Southern California and continued at the studio as systems administrator while helping establish its visual effects department.
After graduating, Schiff moved into editing full-time. He has edited action films including John Wick: Chapter 2 (2017), John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum (2019), Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) (2020) and Nobody (2021). He also edited The Marvels (2023) and Frankenstein (2025), having previously worked as assistant editor on Guillermo del Toro’s Pan’s Labyrinth (2006) and Hellboy II: The Golden Army (2008).
