Biography

Fred C. Caruso is an American film producer and production manager. He has worked on numerous productions since the 1970s, often in associate or co-producer roles, and as unit production manager or executive in charge of production.

His credits include associate producer on Network (1976) and Dressed to Kill (1980), executive producer on Blow Out (1981), and producer and production manager on Blue Velvet (1986). He also served in production capacities on The Godfather (1972), Once Upon a Time in America (1984), Beverly Hills Cop II (1987), Casualties of War (1989) and Super Mario Bros. (1993). His work as co-producer on The Bonfire of the Vanities (1990) is discussed in Julie Salamon's book The Devil's Candy.
