Biography
Gerry Bamman is an American actor and playwright. Born on 18 September 1941 in Independence, Kansas, he studied at New York University, where he earned an MFA, and began his career in theatre before moving into film and television in the mid-1980s.
He is best known for playing Uncle Frank McCallister in Home Alone (1990) and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992). Other film roles include The Secret of My Success (1987), Cocktail (1988), The Bodyguard (1992), Great Expectations (1998) and Runaway Jury (2003). He has also appeared in television series such as Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Sex and the City. Bamman was previously married to director and playwright Emily Mann.
