Biography
Glenn Shadix (born William Glenn Shadix) was an American actor. He was born on 15 April 1952 in Bessemer, Alabama, and died on 7 September 2010 in Birmingham, Alabama.
Shadix began as a stage actor for nearly twenty years before moving into film. He appeared as Otho in Beetlejuice (1988) and voiced the Mayor of Halloween Town in The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993), both directed by Tim Burton, who cast him in further projects including Planet of the Apes (2001). Other credits include roles in Heathers (1989), Demolition Man (1993) and television series such as Seinfeld and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
