Biography
Gregg Fienberg (born 12 September 1960) is an American television producer and director. He graduated from UCLA with a degree in economics in 1983 and began working in film production and music videos before entering television as a production manager and producer on the series Twin Peaks (1990).
Fienberg served as co-executive producer and later executive producer on the HBO Western drama Deadwood (2004–2006), for which he also directed four episodes. He received a Directors Guild of America Award for his work on the pilot and Emmy nominations for directing and producing. His other producing credits include the film Gods and Monsters (1998) and HBO series such as True Blood (2008–2014), Big Little Lies (2017–2019), Sharp Objects (2018) and I Know This Much Is True (2020).
