Biography

Gregory Plotkin is an American film editor and director. A Los Angeles native, he graduated from UCLA with a bachelor's degree in English and began his career in the editorial department, assisting on films including The Insider (1999) and He's Just Not That Into You (2009). He progressed to lead editor with Untraceable (2009).

Plotkin is known for editing horror and comedy films such as Get Out (2017), Happy Death Day (2017), Game Night (2018), The Nun II (2023) and A Quiet Place: Day One (2024). He edited multiple entries in the Paranormal Activity franchise and made his directorial debut with Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension (2015). He also directed Hell Fest (2018).
