Biography
Guy Hendrix Dyas is a British-American production designer. He grew up near Devon in the south of England and graduated with a master's degree in design from the Royal College of Art in London. His career began in Tokyo, where he worked as an industrial designer for Sony after winning an international competition for a Walkman product.
Dyas has worked as production designer on films including X2 (2003), Superman Returns (2006), Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008), Inception (2010), Steve Jobs (2015), Passengers (2016) and Gemini Man (2019). He received Academy Award nominations for Inception and Passengers, and won a BAFTA Award for Best Production Design for Inception. Recent credits include Spencer (2021), Maria (2024) and Masters of the Universe (2026).
