Biography
Jack N. Green is an American cinematographer and occasional director. He began his career in the late 1960s as an assistant to cinematographer Donald M. Morgan, initially working on aerial photography, and later served as a camera operator on several Clint Eastwood films before becoming a director of photography.
Green collaborated closely with Eastwood, serving as cinematographer on every film the director made between 1986 and 2000. His work on Unforgiven (1992) earned Academy Award and BAFTA nominations for best cinematography, while his contribution to The Bridges of Madison County (1995) brought an ASC Award nomination. Other notable credits include Twister (1996), Girl, Interrupted (1999), Serenity (2005), 50 First Dates (2004) and The 40-Year-Old Virgin (2005).
He has also directed films including Traveller (1997) and received the ASC Lifetime Achievement Award in 2009.
