Biography
James Conaty was an American actor. He appeared in numerous films between the late 1920s and mid-1950s, most often in small uncredited roles.
His credits include Party Guest in Laura (1944), Nightclub Patron in The Big Sleep (1946), Dinner Guest in The Best Years of Our Lives (1946), and Man at Pacific Institute of Science and Technology in The War of the Worlds (1953). He was born on 13 December 1895 in Worcester, Massachusetts, and died on 18 December 1955 in Los Angeles, California.
