Biography
Jane Ann Stewart is a production designer. Born in Texas and raised in Connecticut and Europe, she studied art at the University of California, Berkeley.
She has collaborated frequently with director Alexander Payne, serving as production designer on Election (1999), About Schmidt (2002), Sideways (2004) and The Descendants (2011). Other credits include Candyman (1992), The Family Stone (2005), The Savages (2007) and Our Souls at Night (2017). She began in the art department on films such as Beetlejuice (1988) and Ed Wood (1994).
