Biography
Jim Stewart is a film and television editor, also credited as James Austin Stewart or James A. Stewart. He edited the Pixar animated feature Monsters, Inc. (2001) and contributed additional editing to Toy Story 2 (1999). His feature credits also include Valiant (2005) and Live! (2007).
Stewart has worked extensively in television, serving as editor on multiple series including Law & Order (from 2008), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Quantico (2015–2017), City on a Hill (2019) and Instinct (2018). Earlier credits include supervising editor on The Wonder Years (as James Austin Stewart, 1991–1993) and editor on Powwow Highway (1989). He has received Primetime Emmy nominations for his editing work.
