Biography
John Bloomfield (born 1942) is a British costume designer from Cwmgwrach, South Wales. He has frequently collaborated with his wife Ann Beverley, whom he married in 1964, on theatre, television and film productions.
He designed costumes for the BBC series The Six Wives of Henry VIII (1970), for which he received a BAFTA Television Award. His film credits include Conan the Barbarian (1982), Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (1991), Waterworld (1995), The Mummy (1999), The Mummy Returns (2001) and The Scorpion King (2002).
Bloomfield has received a BAFTA win and multiple nominations, including Saturn Award nominations for several of his designs. He has also worked for the English National Opera and in other stage productions.
