Biography
John Dunn is a costume designer for film and television, often credited as John A. Dunn. He designed the costumes for the pilot episode of the series Mad Men (2007).
His film credits include Casino (1995), Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai (1999), Broken Flowers (2005), I'm Not There (2007), Pineapple Express (2008) and Away We Go (2009). On television he has designed for Boardwalk Empire (2010–2014), Vinyl (2016), Castle Rock (2018), Dickinson (2019) and Hunters (2020).
Dunn began in theatre and worked as an assistant costume designer on several Martin Scorsese films before taking lead design roles. He has received multiple Primetime Emmy nominations for his period costume work.
