Biography
Julie Monroe is an American film editor. She began her career in the mid-1980s as an assistant editor, working on several films directed by Oliver Stone including Salvador (1986), Platoon (1986) and JFK (1991).
Monroe has edited numerous feature films, often in collaboration with director Jeff Nichols on Mud (2013), Midnight Special (2016), Loving (2016) and The Bikeriders (2023). Her other credits include The Patriot (2000), Lolita (1997), Life Itself (2018) and the television series Only Murders in the Building (2021). She received Emmy nominations for her editing work.
