Biography
June Squibb is an American actress. Born in Vandalia, Illinois, she began her career in musical theatre and made her Broadway debut in the original production of Gypsy in 1959, later taking over the role of Electra.
Squibb's film work includes supporting roles from the 1990s onwards. She appeared as Helen Schmidt in Alexander Payne's About Schmidt (2002). She received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Nebraska (2013). She has also voiced characters in animated films including Toy Story 4 (2019) and Soul (2020).
