Biography
Karyn Kusama is an American film and television director. She made her feature debut with the sports drama Girlfight (2000), which she also wrote.
Her subsequent feature films include Æon Flux (2005), Jennifer's Body (2009), The Invitation (2015) and Destroyer (2018). She has directed episodes of television series including Masters of Sex (2013), Halt and Catch Fire (2014), Billions, The Man in the High Castle, Yellowjackets (2021) and others. Kusama received awards at the Sundance Film Festival for Girlfight and has earned Emmy nominations for her television work.
