Biography
Lars Dittmann Mikkelsen is a Danish actor. Born on 6 May 1964 in Gladsaxe near Copenhagen, he trained at the National Theatre School of Denmark, graduating in 1995 after earlier work as a street performer.
He is known for roles including Troels Hartmann in The Killing (2007), Charles Augustus Magnussen in Sherlock (2010), Viktor Petrov in House of Cards (2013), Stregobor in The Witcher (2019), and Grand Admiral Thrawn in Star Wars Rebels (2014) and Ahsoka (2023). He played Captain Anderson in Frankenstein (2025). He is the older brother of actor Mads Mikkelsen and has received the Reumert Prize of Honour (2011) and an International Emmy Award (2018).
