Biography

Laurie Rose is an English cinematographer. He has collaborated frequently with director Ben Wheatley, serving as director of photography on Down Terrace (2009), Kill List (2011), Sightseers (2012), A Field in England (2013), High-Rise (2015), Free Fire (2016) and Rebecca (2020).

His other feature credits include Overlord (2018, shared), Pet Sematary (2019), Freaky (2020) and Rosaline (2022). On television he has worked on series including Peaky Blinders, London Spy, Silo and The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. He is a member of the British Society of Cinematographers and won the BAFTA Television Craft Award for Photography & Lighting: Fiction in 2016 for London Spy.
