Biography
Lol Crawley is a British cinematographer. Born in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, he grew up in Wales and studied media production at Northumbria University. He began working in the industry in the late 1990s and became a member of the British Society of Cinematographers.
His credits include Four Lions (2010), 45 Years (2015), The OA (2016) and episodes of Black Mirror. He has collaborated repeatedly with director Brady Corbet on The Childhood of a Leader (2015), Vox Lux (2018) and The Brutalist (2024). For the latter he received the Academy Award and BAFTA Award for Best Cinematography.
