Biography

The London Symphony Orchestra is a British symphony orchestra founded in 1904. It is based at the Barbican Centre in London and is one of the most recorded orchestras in the world.

The orchestra has performed on numerous film soundtracks. Its film work includes John Williams's scores for the original Star Wars trilogy and Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981), as well as later entries in both franchises and other films such as Schindler's List (1993) and Titanic (1997).
