Biography
Lorna Marie Mugan, also credited as Lorna Ó Ríordáin, is a costume designer from Enniskillen, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. She trained at Wimbledon College of Arts in London, graduating with a BA (Hons) in Theatre Design.
She is known for her work on the television series Peaky Blinders (2013–), Normal People (2020) and Ripper Street (2012–2013), and the films The Pope's Exorcist (2023) and Shadow Dancer (2012). Mugan served as costume designer on the HBO series A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms (2026).
Her credits also include Vita & Virginia (2019) and East Is East (1999). She has received an IFTA Award for Peaky Blinders and nominations for Primetime Emmys, including one for A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, as well as a BAFTA TV Award nomination.
