Biography
Malgosia Turzanska (also credited as Małgorzata Turzanska) is a Polish-American costume designer. Born in 1980 in Kraków, Poland, she studied at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague and earned a master's degree from New York University Tisch School of the Arts. She began her career as an assistant to director Agnieszka Holland on the film Janosik: A True Story.
Her credits include the first season of the series Stranger Things (2016), Hell or High Water (2016), You Were Never Really Here (2017), The Green Knight (2021), Pearl (2022), X (2022) and Hamnet (2025). She received an Academy Award nomination for Best Costume Design for Hamnet. Turzanska is married to cinematographer Joe Anderson.
