Biography
Michael Angarano is an American actor. Born on 3 December 1987 in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, New York City, he began acting in the mid-1990s and gained early attention for his roles in the film Music of the Heart (1999) and the television series Cover Me (2000–2001). He also had a recurring role as Elliott in the sitcom Will & Grace.
Angarano has appeared in films including Almost Famous (2000), Sky High (2005), The Forbidden Kingdom (2008), Haywire (2011) as Scott, and Oppenheimer (2023) as Robert Serber. On television he has featured in 24 (2007), The Knick (2014–2015), I'm Dying Up Here (2017–2018) and This Is Us (2018–2021), the latter earning him a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series in 2019. He has also directed, written and produced the films Avenues (2017) and Sacramento (2024).
