Biography

Michael Lerman is a first assistant director and producer. He has worked as first assistant director on numerous feature films, including Quantum of Solace (2008), Skyfall (2012), Doctor Strange (2016), It Chapter Two (2019) and 1917 (2019).

Lerman served as co-producer on 1917 (2019) and later on The Flash (2023) and IF (2024), as well as executive producer on Empire of Light (2022). He received a Directors Guild of America Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Feature Film for his work on 1917.
