Biography
Nicole Rubio, also credited as Nicole Cummins-Rubio and Nicole Cummins, is an American television director. She began her career in film and television as an extra and actress before working as a script supervisor on feature films including Blade (1998), Training Day (2001) and Star Trek (2009).
In 2005 she joined the crew of Grey's Anatomy as script supervisor, a role she held for over 200 episodes, and appeared in the recurring role of Paramedic Nicole. She made her directing debut on the series in 2013 with the episode “She’s Killing Me” and went on to direct a total of 12 episodes between 2013 and 2021. Rubio has also directed episodes of Chicago P.D., Chicago Med, How to Get Away with Murder, Manifest and Station 19.
