Biography
Nisha Ganatra is a Canadian film and television director. She was born on 25 June 1974 in Vancouver, British Columbia.
She directed the feature films Chutney Popcorn (1999), Cosmopolitan (2003), Late Night (2019), The High Note (2020) and Freakier Friday (2025). Ganatra has also directed episodes of television series including Transparent, Mr. Robot, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Shameless and And Just Like That….
She is a member of the Directors Guild of America and received a nomination for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Commercials in 2020.
