Biography

Olivier Bugge Coutté is a Danish film editor. He was born on 26 May 1970 in Copenhagen.

He has edited all six feature films directed by Joachim Trier, including Reprise (2006), Oslo, August 31st (2011), Thelma (2017) and The Worst Person in the World (2021). His other credits include The Apprentice (2024) and The Promised Land (2023).

Coutté received an Academy Award nomination for Best Film Editing for Sentimental Value (2025).
