Biography
Patric M. Verrone is an American television writer and labour leader. Born on 29 September 1959 in Glendale, Queens, New York, he began his career writing monologues for The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson in the late 1980s.
He subsequently wrote for Rugrats (1991), The Critic, Muppets Tonight, Pinky and the Brain, Futurama (as writer and producer across multiple seasons and films), and one episode of The Simpsons (2005). He also contributed to Disenchantment and developed Class of 3000.
Verrone served as president of the Writers Guild of America, West from 2005 to 2009, leading the guild through the 2007–08 strike. He has won three Primetime Emmy Awards.
