Biography

Patrick Lussier is a Canadian-American filmmaker and editor. Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, he began his career as an assistant editor on television series including The Hitchhiker and MacGyver before becoming a full editor.

He edited several films directed by Wes Craven, including Wes Craven's New Nightmare (1994), Vampire in Brooklyn (1995), Scream (1996), Scream 2 (1997), Scream 3 (2000) and Red Eye (2005). He received Gemini Award nominations for editing the telefilms Adrift (1994) and Heads (1995), and edited the 1996 Doctor Who television film.

Lussier made his directorial debut with The Prophecy 3: The Ascent (2000) and has directed Dracula 2000 (2000), My Bloody Valentine (2009) and Drive Angry (2011). He co-wrote Terminator Genisys (2015).
