Biography
Peter Lauritson is an American producer and director. He began working in post-production at Paramount Pictures and first contributed to the Star Trek franchise with uncredited pre-production work on Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982). He joined the production of Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987) as an associate producer and advanced through producing roles on the series.
Lauritson served as co-producer on the Star Trek feature films Star Trek: Generations (1994), Star Trek: First Contact (1996), Star Trek: Insurrection (1998) and Star Trek: Nemesis (2002), and as second-unit director on two of them. He was supervising producer on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager and Star Trek: Enterprise, and directed three episodes of the franchise, including the Hugo Award-winning "The Inner Light". He later worked as co-producer and associate producer on The Mentalist (2008).
