Biography
Pippa Harris is a British film and television producer. She co-founded Neal Street Productions in 2003 with Sam Mendes and Caro Newling, and runs the company's film and television division.
Harris previously worked as a script editor at ITV and Channel 4, a development executive at BBC Films, an executive producer for BBC Drama Serials, and Head of Drama Commissioning at the BBC. Her credits include the films Jarhead (2005), Starter for 10 (2006), 1917 (2019), Empire of Light (2022), Hamnet (2025) and The Magic Faraway Tree (2026), as well as executive producing Revolutionary Road (2008) and television series including Call the Midwife, Penny Dreadful and The Hollow Crown.
She was appointed DBE in 2015. For 1917, Harris received an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture, two BAFTA Awards and a Golden Globe Award.
