Biography
Richard N. Gladstein is an American film producer. He was born on 4 June 1961 in the Bronx, New York City, and earned a bachelor's degree in film from Boston University's College of Communication.
He worked in production and acquisitions at Live Entertainment and served as executive vice president of production at Miramax Films from 1993 to 1995, after which he founded the production company FilmColony. Gladstein has produced or executive produced films including Reservoir Dogs (1992), Pulp Fiction (1994), Jackie Brown (1997), The Cider House Rules (1999), She's All That (1999), The Bourne Identity (2002), Finding Neverland (2004) and The Hateful Eight (2015). He received Academy Award nominations for best picture for The Cider House Rules and Finding Neverland.
Gladstein has held academic positions including dean of the American Film Institute Conservatory and executive director of the Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema at Brooklyn College. In 2025 he was appointed executive director of the Hamptons Film Festival.
