Biography
Rob Brydon is a Welsh actor, comedian, impressionist, presenter and writer. He was born Robert Brydon Jones on 3 May 1965 in Baglan, Wales, and trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
He is known for playing Bryn West in the BBC sitcom Gavin & Stacey (2007–2024). Brydon has appeared in films including Barbie (2023) as Sugar Daddy Ken, Cinderella (2015), The Huntsman: Winter's War (2016) and Holmes & Watson (2018). He has collaborated with Steve Coogan on several films directed by Michael Winterbottom, including the The Trip series (2010–2020). Brydon was appointed MBE in 2013 for services to comedy and broadcasting.
