Biography
Rob Huebel is an American actor, comedian and writer. Born on 4 June 1969 in Alexandria, Virginia, he began performing improv comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York.
He co-created and starred in the MTV sketch comedy series Human Giant (2007–2008) alongside Aziz Ansari and Paul Scheer. Huebel is best known for playing Dr. Owen Maestro in the Adult Swim series Childrens Hospital (2008–2016), for which he received an Emmy nomination, and its spin-off Medical Police (2020). His film credits include I Love You, Man (2009), The Descendants (2011) and Baywatch (2017). He played Leo in the HBO miniseries I Know This Much Is True (2020).
Huebel has appeared in numerous television series including The Office, How I Met Your Mother, Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Transparent.
