Biography
Robert Stuart Nathan, usually credited as Robert Nathan, is an American writer, producer and novelist. He began his television career on the original staff of Law & Order (1990), contributing as a writer, story editor and producer, with credits including teleplays and stories. He later served as co-executive producer on ER (1994), for which the series received a Peabody Award.
Nathan has written for other series in the Law & Order franchise, including Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999) and Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2001), and worked as executive producer and showrunner on Law & Order: Criminal Intent and Women's Murder Club (2007). He is also the author of novels including the political thriller The White Tiger (1987), a New York Times Notable Book.
