Biography
Robert Wisdom is an American actor born on 14 September 1953 in Washington, D.C. He graduated from Columbia University with a degree in history and economics, and worked as a producer for NPR's All Things Considered before beginning his acting career in London theatre in the 1980s.
He returned to the United States in the early 1990s and made his screen debut in the mid-1990s. Wisdom is known for his roles as Howard 'Bunny' Colvin in the HBO series The Wire (2003–2008), Norman 'Lechero' St. John in Prison Break (2007–2008), Uriel in Supernatural (2008–2009), and Jim Moss in Barry (2018–2023). His film credits include Tito Biondi in Face/Off (1997), a part in Ray (2004), and Harold Conway in Vacation Friends (2021). He also had a recurring role as Coleman Carlisle in the ABC series Nashville (2012–2013).
