Biography

Rosemarie DeWitt is an American actress. She was born on 26 October 1971 in Flushing, Queens, New York City. She graduated from Hofstra University with a BA in creative studies and began her career in New York theatre, winning an Obie Award for her role in Craig Lucas's Small Tragedy.

DeWitt is known for her roles in the television series Standoff (2006–07), United States of Tara and Mad Men, and in films including Rachel Getting Married (2008), Cinderella Man (2005), La La Land (2016) and Poltergeist (2015). She played Elizabeth Riley in Smile 2 (2024) and Jill Bodwin in the series Untamed (2025). She is married to actor Ron Livingston.
