Biography
Rosemary Harris, also credited as Rosemary Ann Harris, is an English actress. She played May Parker in Spider-Man (2002), Spider-Man 2 (2004) and Spider-Man 3 (2007).
Harris began her stage career in 1948 and made her Broadway debut in 1952. She won the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play for The Lion in Winter (1966) and received a Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement in 2017. She won a Primetime Emmy Award for Notorious Woman (1976) and a Golden Globe Award for Holocaust (1978). She was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for Tom & Viv (1994).
She trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Harris is the mother of actress Jennifer Ehle. She was married to John Ehle until his death in 2018.
