Biography
Siân Héder is an American filmmaker, writer and director. She was born on 23 June 1977 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and graduated with a BFA from Carnegie Mellon University.
Héder wrote for the series Men of a Certain Age and for seasons one to three of Orange Is the New Black (2013), on which she also directed an episode. She made her feature debut as writer and director with Tallulah (2016).
Her film CODA (2021), which she wrote and directed, won the Academy Award and BAFTA Award for Best Adapted Screenplay. She has also directed episodes of GLOW and Little America.
