Biography
Steve Witting is an American actor. He began his career in the 1980s comedy series Valerie (later The Hogan Family) as Bert, the friend of David Hogan.
Witting has appeared in numerous films, including Batman Returns (1992) as Josh, Catch Me If You Can (2002) as Manager, Shutter Island (2010) as Doctor, The Wolf of Wall Street (2013) as SEC Attorney #2, The Irishman (2019) as Judge William Miller and Killers of the Flower Moon (2023) as Dr. James Shoun. He made his directorial debut directing an episode of Step by Step in 1991.
Witting joined the drama club at Richmond Hill High School in Queens and trained as an apprentice at the Hampton Playhouse in New Hampshire, where he met his wife, Renee Rogers.
