Biography
Steven Price is an English film composer. Born in Nottingham, he studied music at Emmanuel College, Cambridge, before working as a programmer, arranger and music editor on films including the Lord of the Rings trilogy and Batman Begins.
He made his debut as a composer with Attack the Block (2011). Price is best known for scoring Gravity (2013), for which he won the Academy Award for Best Original Score. Other credits include The World's End (2013), Fury (2014), Suicide Squad (2016), Baby Driver (2017) and Last Night in Soho (2021). He has frequently collaborated with director Edgar Wright.
In 2025 he composed the score for The Running Man.
