Biography

Stu Nahan was an American television sportscaster and actor. He worked in Los Angeles broadcasting from the 1950s to the 1990s, delivering sports reports on stations including KABC-TV, KNBC-TV and KTLA-TV, and later hosted radio shows and Dodgers pre- and post-game programmes.

He is best known for appearing as a boxing commentator in the Rocky film series, including as Commentator #1 in Rocky IV (1985). He featured in all six films in the series, from Rocky (1976) to Rocky Balboa (2006). Nahan also had roles in films such as Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982) and television series including Baywatch and Sabrina, the Teenage Witch.

In May 2007 he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He died later that year on 26 December.
