Biography
Thierry Arbogast is a French cinematographer. He was born on 24 January 1956 in Paris.
Arbogast is best known for his long collaboration with director Luc Besson, beginning with Nikita (1990) and continuing through Léon: The Professional (1994), The Fifth Element (1997), Lucy (2014), Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets (2017) and Anna (2019). He has also worked with directors including Jean-Paul Rappeneau on The Horseman on the Roof (1995) and Bon Voyage (2003), Patrice Leconte on Ridicule (1996), and Mathieu Kassovitz on The Crimson Rivers (2000).
He has won three César Awards for Best Cinematography, for The Horseman on the Roof, The Fifth Element and Bon Voyage.
