Biography
Tim Headington, also credited as Timothy Clare Headington, is an American film producer and businessman. Born in 1950 in Dallas, Texas, he founded Headington Oil in 1978 and later expanded into real estate development and entertainment. He is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma.
Headington partnered with producer Graham King in GK Films from 2007 to 2012. He subsequently established Tango Entertainment and Ley Line Entertainment. His producing credits include Hugo (2011), In the Land of Blood and Honey (2011) and The Tourist (2010). He has served as executive producer on films including Argo (2012), World War Z (2013) and Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022).
He has also produced on Broadway, including the musical & Juliet. Headington is a noted philanthropist supporting education, arts and humanitarian causes.
