Biography
Timothy Carhart (born Timothy Grunig, 24 December 1953) is an American actor. Born in Washington, D.C., he attended junior high and high school in Evanston, Illinois. He spent part of his childhood in İzmir and Ankara in Turkey and Verdun in France before returning to the United States to study theatre. He has been acting since at least the late 1970s.
His film credits include Ghostbusters (1984), Thelma & Louise (1991) as Harlan, The Hunt for Red October (1990) as Bill Steiner and Beverly Hills Cop III (1994) as Ellis DeWald. On television he has had recurring roles in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2000–03) and 24 (2002), and has appeared in Yellowstone. He also starred in the 1992 Broadway revival of A Streetcar Named Desire.
