Biography
Tom Hughes is an English actor. He trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, graduating in 2008.
He is known for his roles as Prince Albert in the ITV series Victoria (2016–2019), Kit Marlowe in A Discovery of Witches (2018–2022), Thomas Trafford in The English (2022), and Titus Flavianus in Those About to Die (2024). His film credits include Bruce Pearson in Cemetery Junction (2010), for which he received a BIFA nomination for Most Promising Newcomer, Jimmy Kincade in About Time (2013), Leo Galich in Red Joan (2018), and Abel in Infinite (2021). He played Carter in the series Legends (2026).
Earlier television work includes appearances in Page Eight (2011), Silk (2011), and The Hollow Crown (2012). He is a former member of the indie band Quaintways.
